About us
A couple, and two kinds of knowing.
We're Bobby and Sara, a couple from Svendborg in Denmark. With Bobby and Sara is where we share what we know about the body and the nervous system: Bobby with his hands and his own story, Sara as a physiotherapist.
We build everything around problems people actually have, like headaches, a stiff neck or a body that won't calm down. Massage, acupressure, stretching and yoga are the tools.
I'm a holistic body therapist and massage therapist. I work with massage, cupping, body therapy and craniosacral therapy in my clinic in Svendborg.
I was diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia and lived in complete isolation for more than ten years. I found my way out slowly, and largely on my own. I also have ADHD and, in my own words, undiagnosed autism.
Since then I've been a mentor and guide for many people who are struggling. People often tell me they feel safe around me, even those who don't feel safe with anyone. That safety is the core of everything I do.
When I share my story, I share what helped me. It isn't treatment, and it isn't instead of the help you get elsewhere. For many people, the system and medication are a necessary step, and that's okay.
If you're in crisis right now, contact your local emergency number or find a free helpline at findahelpline.com.
Sara is a physiotherapist and a trained yoga teacher, with 15 years of meditation practice. She loves nature, long hikes and her garden, and she speaks Danish, English, German and Swedish.
In our videos and courses, Sara is the one who explains what's going on in the body, chooses the stretches and exercises, and says clearly when it's time to see a doctor.
In Svendborg, Denmark, Bobby has his clinic and Sara her practice in the same house. Both sites are in Danish.
